Does your dog suffer from chronic ear infections?

If your dog suffers from chronic ear infections, sores, smelly dog, itchy skin, hot spots, warts, tumors and more....  your dog could actually be suffering from a Yeast overgrowth (aka Candida) - systemic yeast?  Are you tired of giving medications and antibiotics to your dog only to see that the problem gets worse? Does it break your heart to see your dog in this way?   Maybe your dog has been diagnosed with allergies and you are tired of paying for the treatments?  If you are looking for an alternative, all natural way to help your dog turn their health around then please keep reading.

Many dogs are experiencing all of the above and other complications due to systemic yeast.  The goal is to rehabilitate your little friend from the inside out.  The best way to achieve this is to remove the GRAINS and sugar from their diet.   With some you may be catching it in time and you'll be able to reverse the issues with my 'BASIC' Anti-yeast diet suggestions listed below.  The majority of dogs experienced significant changes within two to  four weeks.  For others the issues might have a deeper hold on your dog and you'll need to escalate your treatment.  Please read Anti-Yeast Diet(Advanced) or Anti-Yeast Diet(Critical) for more diet options.

Anti-Yeast Diet (Basic)

1.  Probiotic - (I recommend Natren - Caninedolphilus.  Find Canine Probiotics online)  There are others out there but I have witnessed this stuff turn many dogs around when their health has been compromised.

If you buy them online 3 at a time you'll get another free this is the best deal for this product, they will ship it in a cold pack to ensure it's quality when it reaches your door.  I'm not sure if anyone carries it at a retail store, I've never found one.  It runs about $25.95 per tube. It is expensive but absolutely necessary in stopping what is going on and I would definitely invest in 3+1 deal so that you can give him 40 solid days of a great probiotic..  It has little notches so you can accurately give one dose a day preferably on an empty stomach.  On the Natren site you can read all about the benefits of their product.

2.  Dog Food - (I recommend Acana - Wild Prarie) - Nashville Pet Products now carries this food. It's a "NO GRAIN" whole food which means that when they prepare this dog food they only heat it to the FDA approved minimum maintaining as many nutrients as they can from the ingredients used to make the food.  I have personally watched hot spots, ear infections, boils and allergies go away.  Out of all the foods available for dogs I have found this one to be the best.

This food is so dense in nutrition that you'll need to watch the portions you give and you'll find that you need to feed your dog less than normal store brand dog foods.  My Jack Russell gets about 1/4 cup a day, just to give you an idea, and if she ever looks like she is putting on too much weight then we back her off and if she looks a little skinny then she gets a couple more pieces.

3.  For Sores/Hot Spts - Coconut Oil Topically(mix a couple of drops a lavender and Coconut Oil in a bowl)  (recommend to wear gloves or wash your hands as soon as you are finished)  Take the coconut oil mix and rub it into the sore, massage it in if you can, if it's too raw do your best.  Repeat until sore is gone.  If the dog can reach the spot it is also recommended to put a cone on them.  This will help keep them from licking the area and enable quicker recovery.

Below are just a few of the numerous and unparalleled coconut oil benefits many are already enjoying:
  • Reduces risk of having heart disease
  • Stimulates metabolism
  • Promotes normal thyroid function
  • Helps lose and maintain ideal body weight
  • Kills viruses, bacteria, fungi and other pathogens
  • Functions as an antioxidant
  • Lessens chronic inflammation
  • Relieves symptoms of gallbladder disease
  • Protects against cancer
  • Prevents premature aging and degenerative disease
  • Expels tapeworms, lice and other parasites
  • Ward off skin infections
  • Controls dandruff
  • Reduces epileptic seizures
  • Accelerates healing of wounds, cuts, burns, etc.
  • Prevents diabetes and relieves health risks associated with it
  • Prevents periodontal disease and tooth decay
  • ... and much, much more ...
***It's ok if your dog eats the Coconut oil.  Matter of fact let him eat about a teaspoon of coconut oil(without the lavender) when you treat his ear, then he'll associate the experience with a treat and you'll be treating him/her internally at the same time.

4.  Nettles - Liquid Extract or Nettles

If you choose Liquid it's pretty easy to give him the Nettles anytime directly from the dropper to his mouth do this 2x's a day at meal time,

  or

you can do Loose Bulk Nettles by adding a teaspoon to each meal.  To do the dry form you'll need to wet the dry food and then drain the water out completely, stir in the teaspoon and the Nettles will stick to the food.  Give this two - three times daily depending on how often you've decided to feed him his food.

5.  Ears - Wallys Ear Oil for Pets  + Nutribiotics Ear Oil (Alternate back and forth between both of these for the ears)

This stuff is absolutely amazing.  Start off with the Nutribiotics.. follow the instructions on the back for administering.  Then when you go to do the next treatment use the Wallys.  We've found that the combination of these two formulas being administered back and forth to be very successful with chronic ear issues.

Treatment would like this:

DAY 1:
1.  Nutribiotic
2.  Wallys
3.  Nutribiotic

DAY 2:
1.  Wallys
2.  Nutribiotic
3. Wallys

White Angels Hope Mission to Save the Double Merle

Hi Everyone,

The pictures and story below are a wonderful story but surely not un usual in my world.  Great Danes, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Dachshunds, Cocker Spaniels, just to name a few can be born visually and hearing impaired because of the kind of breeding they are doing called Double Merle.   Most reputable breeders will not touch this with a ten foot pole but puppy mill and back yard breeders will as will some lay people who just decide to breed their dog but do not know what they are doing.  As a rescuer of these dogs its part of my job to educate people since most do not know the sad story to tell and just think something like this is wonderful.  Yes, it is wonderful and beautiful that a sister or brother in the litter usually take the job of guide dog, but the sad part is that 20% to 25% of the litter will come out predominantly white with some merle coloring and visually and hearing impaired to different degree's,  so that others in the litter are born with beautiful blue eyes and merle (marbleized coloring) and genetically normal these can be sold for a lot of money.  Up until there were people like myself who started rescuing these dogs they were and still are  shot, drowned, or let loose on roadways by the people who bred them, in turn hit by cars or picked up by animal control and gassed or heart sticked by the shelters (for those who do not know yes, in these United States in many states it is legal to kill an animal in this horrible way)  in many of the rural southern and western area's where this kind of breeding predominantly happens.  There are only 3 rescues in the US that specialize in these kinds of dogs, one of them being myself although breed rescues have now started to take in many of them also.  A definite after note to all of this is only veterinaries who are unfamiliar with this kind of breeding will remove their eyes.  Most live being blind with their eye's intact for their whole lives with no problems and this is the way it should be.  If you would like to read more about what this type of eye condition is please go to this link.
Veterinaries who are not aware will remove the eyes, but these dogs do have eyesThe, they are just deformed and many can see light and dark and why take away that from them.
Please post this to all your friends and your veterinaries to start to make people more aware of the story behind the story of these beautiful Danes and to make more people aware that although these are wonderful animals their site and hearing should not be something that is sacrificed for the sake of the almighty $$$$$$.  This breeding needs instead to be eradicated in the future generations of these animals.
With this all said my rescue White Angels Hope can not continue to rescue these wonderful animals without people who are committed to helping by fostering these beautiful dogs.  These dogs are my passion and my love and I want to see them safe in loving foster homes in the middle step to their forever families.  If you live in the New York City metro area or even tri state area and would like to help us continue, please contact me at

YOU CAN HELP STOP THE GAS!! Read with caution.

Please pass on
DON'T LET THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO DEFENSELESS ANIMALS
INFORMATION HOW YOU CAN HELP IS BELOW AND ATTACHED
THE REALITY
DOG BEING DRAGGED INTO A CAGE WHICH IS THEN SHOVED INTO A GAS CHAMBER

AND THE HORROR
AFTER ABOUT 40 MINUTES THE CAGES ARE REMOVED AND THE CARCUSES DUMPED
DOES THIS LOOK LIKE THEY HAD A PIECE DEATH FREE OF FEAR

Thanks for your help and support in trying to end gas chambers. Can you forward this email to as many animal lovers and advocates as you possibly can and ask for their help.

To summarize:

* Gas Chambers are still used in more than 30 states as a means to kill/"euthanize" homeless animals in shelters.
* Death by Gas Chamber is long, painful, and terrifying.  It can take up to 40 minutes to die.
* Human criminals have not been killed in gas chambers for 2 decades because it is considered cruel and inhumane.
* Using gas chambers poses a risk to humans.

* It is less expensive to use lethal injection than it is to use Gas Chambers

Download this power point presentation that has more details and can be used to help educate others to this horrible situation.

Congressman Jim Moran (D - VA) is going to put forth legislation to ban/end gas chambers NATIONALLY.  We need support for this bill.
Here is what people can do to help:

1) Forward this email to everyone and anyone you know who cares about animals and ask for their help.
2) Contact your Congressperson and ask them to co-sponsor the bill.  If they will not co-sponsor, ask them to support it when the bill is up for vote. Feel free to forward the attachment to them or use it to draft your own correspondence.
3) If you live in the district of any of the people below, please work extra hard for their sponsorship or support on this bill.  They are member of the Animal Caucus and will have first opportunity to pass this critical legislation.

The Fight for No Kill Shelters

Got this off of facebook from No Kill Nation.  Please pass this on to every one you know who is for animals we need to start to get our own people in to the shelter system

No Kill advocates - now's your chance to save thousands of lives. The job posting for a new Memphis Animal Services director is live. This house of horrors is in desperate need of a leader committed to lifesaving. Hints: "Key phrases to avoid if you are applying: no kill, 90% live release rate, and of course YesBiscuit. Save all that for after they hire you. Like Day One. Go get ‘em Tiger."
